Not looking for a soup.
Can I have a recipe for roasted and how to deal with it being frozen.
Will it taste like frozen string beans? Those I can't stand, watery and mushy even if I cook them on high heat.

If they're from bodek, expect there to be lots of tough stalk, not just tender spear.
Saute them quickly over relatively high heat rather than roasting them.

Yes, bodek.
Is it yummy?
Never made asparagus before, since they are hard to check.

I don't enjoy their frozen asparagus. But if you already bought it, this is the way to prepare it. You can just eat the spear pieces and leave the stem pieces, which were supposed to have been snapped off and discarded, on your plate.
I buy fresh and peel them. Those are yummy.

Bumping this up
Bought from pardes called cuts and tips. Any way to roast it and eat it without it tasting mushy ? How to reheat for shabbos?

I tried roasting the whole ones.
They were mushy, but tasty.
I like them firm like the ones you get grilled when you go to a Simcha.

Can you give me details please, for how to roast or sauté them? What temperature? For how long? Do you put any seasoning, spice, etc. on them? Thanx

Per the kashrut council of canada, any frozen vegetable can be used directly as long Shabbat Shalom it’s being puréed. We eat asparagus purée like it’s mashed potatoes. Broccoli/cauliflower too. Solid enough to heat on Shabbat, pure unadulterated flavour or flavour withcaramelized onions. Yum
