I work part time. My job can be stressful. When I get home I love playing with dd - 1 year old. I eat lunch, relax for a bit while she plays, eventually make dinner...I know that other mothers are running around doing things. I always feel like I could be doing more. Baking or cooking in advance etc. How do you do it.

I work part time, come home at 3 and DS comes home at 3.30. I try to plan in advance which days I will go out and do some shopping (these days I make easier suppers) and which days I will be home after work. I always manage to have freshly baked challes for shabbes, I start making them right when I come home (btw I dont have a bosch, everything hand made) and my son loves to watch how I braid them. a 3 year old I easier to keep busy than a one year old so I can cook when he plays. he also loves to help me cook or watch.
sometimes it happens that we buy ready supper or eat out.
when I really feel that I have alot to do I just take a day of or finish working at around 12 so I have a few hours for myself (depends on ur boss)
