I have been using a Brita water pitcher for the last few years, but would like to try a water dispenser and water delivery service. I know many of you may feel it's ridiculous to pay for water, especially since they claim it's municipal water, but if my kids will drink this, it's worth every penny. Currently, I am the only one drinking water. My kids drink mostly juice (or worse!). I am located in Brooklyn and am looking for a reliable service with affordable prices. ReadyRefresh by Nestle seems to have excellent prices, according to what I saw online. Unless there are hidden fees, it seems to be a free dispenser rental and a 5 gallon water for $6. I would love to hear feedback and other recommendations. Of course, I would prefer a heimishe company if their prices are reasonable enough, but I could not find any listings in the local phonebook.

Fleischman does this for years with Poland Spring water IIRC. I'll see if I can locate the number.

ReadyRefresh charges for the cooler after the 1st year. There is also a delivery charge.

Thanks, ra_mom. I emailed them and they do not provide the coolers. I really don't want to invest in one in case it doesn't work out for my family. The water itself, however, is not too expensive. Can anyone recommend another service?

Has anyone used Ready Refresh? Also looking for such a service.

Would like to know if anyone has a good experience with Ready Refresh.

I just signed up with ReadyRefresh. I figured that I don't have much to lose. The cooler rental is free for the first year. The monthly delivery fee is $3.99, no matter how many deliveries you opt for each month (so even if you have weekly deliveries, you only pay one flat monthly rate). And the first order is half price. Also, there is no contract, so I can cancel at any time. If you decide to try them out just like I just did, please use my referral link http://fbuy.me/iwbl4

Thanks!

I can't comment on Brooklyn water specifically because I am in Los Angeles.

However some of the "bottled" water is actually just water from a municipal source which is then bottled by the manufacturer and sold.

I do drink bottled water but I use water that is bottled from springs and is not just the same city water rebottled.

FWIW, NYC water is supposedly one of the best municipal waters available because it is sourced from upstate.

The real contaminants are more likely in your pipes if you have older pipes.

No, the name is TO Life Water. I use them. The other companies have gimmicks in the beginning but then after, they raise the rates,

Ready fresh has lots of hidden fees and now charges per delivery(not per month) so I'm looking for new water service. Anyone know about Fleishman prices?
