Because a mikva is an exclusive Jewish product/service that one will pay the price no matter what it is. Anything that gets sold to Jews by Jews has an inflated price.

Thelingerie shop sells stuff you can't find anywhere. I love their stuff and I wish I could find for cheaper. There's none.

I totally agree with the "take advantage of us" point. All Jewish stores are like that. Food wise too.
I bought 2 robes for my kids now before Pesach. The first time they wore it. The seam ripped. 2 different robes 2 different companies. 1 store. The store would not fix it or take responsibility for it.!!
Never mind.... I shopped for a kallah recently. Bought everything under 1 roof in the same lingerie store... A discount??? NEVER!!!
