If it is just one potato, what is wrong with that?

Same here. Hate when that happens! By me it’s usually chocolate chips or whatever else is around... my latest trick is trying to be fleishig all day... at least it takes out half the things I shouldn’t be eating... g’luck!

Same here. I eat when I give my kids to eat so it ruins my diet. Also, for shabbos and yomtov I have extra nosh for my kids which makes it harder for me. If they didnt need the junk as an incentive, I wouldnt have it in my house.

Oh I forgot to mention what comes after that.....

The potato is the start. when it's rice it's even worse. I make 6-8 servings for my 3 little kids (ages 5, 3, and 1.5), dh doesn't like it. I never stay with leftovers.

I'm not gonna say where it all goes.

I try to eat something milchig before I start serving dinner. There isn't much to cheat on milchig in my house.

It's a weird problem I know.

Meh
In less than an hour you'll be ois milchig. And you'll be able to eat all you see.

Btw your thread title really made me think you're going to write that you told someone something inappropriate.

Only a few potatoes? At least it's fixable. Smile

I stopped making foods that I don't want to eat (with some exceptions). This way, I'm choosing from healthy options, as are my kids!

(potatoes aren't terrible but they are calorie dense)
