I posted a few months back with a similar question. We’re iyh having a girl soon and two of the possible names are Zeesa Bracha (aka Zeesy) and Zissel Chana (aka ZC). So basically she’d be called zeesy/zc But the question is which version is better and which one will less people mess up the spelling? In other words, which way would you naturally think to spell the nickname? I’m not so into the initials version, but my husband prefers it.

Don't like the initials personally - seems childish, or like a rap artist! I've seen Zissel shortened to Zisie and I think that's pretty. Any way it's spelled people will mess it up because there are so many variations, but ZC people would never think is the real spelling...

Maybe you dont want my opinon because in my mo world Zissa/Zissel is not a common name but here it is:
ZC reminds me of a name a rapper would choose for himself.

Edited to say: I see I am not the only one with the rapper thought!

I don't know so much about Yiddish names, but even I have heard of the name Zissel, but never heard of Zeesa. Even though I generally don't like Yiddish names, I like both of those!

I like both names, and I think both nicknames would be obvious how to pronounce. I don't have a favorite because I like both, so I'd have to know the meanings of the names to compare.

I just wanted to add that to me ZC would not make me think of a rapper.

I prefer ZC, as I don't love any of the other ways of spelling the nickname

Personally I like Zeesa Bracha better. As far as the initials thing goes, that can always be a nickname kind of thing.

I like the first choice better. I also think Zeesa is easier to use/pronounce than Zissel.

Isn’t zissel a boys name?
I like the name Zissa brocha.
Zeesy, Zisi, Zissy, don’t worry, it will be misspelled.
