The skimmies I buy are not the cotton ones (though I think they sell those). I only wear 100% cotton and that's why I wear underwear under my nylon skimmies

I would probably try those under the tights-its like the fibers of tights catch my skin and rub so if its thin enough I would wear it under my tights..

also sounds like I should try melas 60 denier..

I stopped wearing nylon. I wear opaque trouser socks in a nude color. They dont run at all. A little thicker too which I like for tznius.

I stopped wearing pantyhose because of rashes. Now my legs are free, comfortable, and I don't get rashes- but I do wear shorts because of chubrub but only cotton ones otherwise you can get a rash. My health is more important than minhag.

That's just as tznius. I think.

Anyway, where I live, some do cover legs and some don't, so I could go either way, and I prefer not to, but if I do want to cover my legs, I put on a long skirt and wear with socks. No short skirts with tights. It's not that tights make my thighs itch or give me a rash but they make me feel sweaty and personally I've always thought that it's bad for feet to be wrapped up like that in the heat. You can cover legs just as easily with long skirts and socks- knee socks are very tznius (I wear short socks but that's cuz I dont make a point of covering my legs).

60 denier? That sounds like winter opaque. My pantyhose is 13 denier, thin and cool.
