Not to confuse it with Esteria.
What’s it like?
Someone mentioned it as a possibility for our upcoming simcha but I don’t think I was ever there. I can go there and check it out but I would love to hear from other people.

We were at Lake Terrace December 2016 for my nephew's wedding. It was a beautiful simcha. Is that the one?

I googled and there appears to be a new place called River Terrace. You can see their Instagram page when you Google with lots of pictures.

I was at a bar mitzvah there. very nice. good food..not cheap. I think at least 28 dollars a person. its not huge so if ur having lots of pple u may have to push over tables by men for dancing.

Thank you-

How is it compared to esteria?

I am specifically looking for something not so big, yet elegant.

They are just 2 different looks. Personally, I go for estreia. It isn't cookie cutter simcha hall style. There is something warm and elegant about it. My relatives who came to my simcha from Brooklyn are crazy over the place cuz it is a bit different than typical halls. Also had great experiences with working with them on my simchas bh.

That being said, I've gone to beautiful simchas in River Terrace.

They really are both great choices. You need to check them both out and see which is more your style.
