It's lightly salted. Any ideas before it goes stale?

Freezer keeps it fresh, if you just want more time.

Movie night!

Reheat it in the oven on low. It will crisp it up again and take out the staleness.

Growing up on MS we used to spread some over the toaster tray, sprinkle with shredded cheese, toast for a few minutes and enjoy right away.

I've done this many times after seeing a friend do it. She literally freezes a garbage bag full at a time and it comes out delicious and crispy. But she freezes it when it's still fresh.

Fill a roaster pan with popcorn- halfway. Put in the oven on 250. You can add peanuts if you want
Meanwhile melt on a saucepan-
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c light karo syrup
1 stick margarine
Close flame and add
1/2 tspn vanilla extract
1/2 tspn baking soda

Add sauce to the popcorn and mix well. Bake for 2 hours mixing every 15 minutes. When cool break the big pieces apart and enjoy

Thanks so much! Is a roaster pan like a deep baking sheet ?

A roaster pan is the size of two 9x13 pans together .

OT that’s a jelly roll pan or rimmed cookie sheet.
A roaster pan starts at 14"x10"x3". It often comes with a rack.

OP, make popcorn balls or cracker jacks.

I guess it has to do with where you live. The disposable roaster pans are the exact size of two 9x13 bekalach placed side by side . It's a drop deeper than a 9x13 .

Ah, it is the size for a large roast.
I don’t use disposable pans for the most part. The size you are describing usually has 1" sides.
Either way, I would line it with baking paper to get it out easily.

Zapping it in the microwave for 2-3 mins on a flat paper plate or shallow bowl works great on stale popcorn!

Is it only good straight from the freezer or also once completely defrosted?

Both. It doesn't really freeze, it just gets cold. After five minutes it's all defrosted.
