Does it make sense that my glass dinette table cracked from putting a hot pot on it? it's 3 years old. Should I complain to the company or shouldn't have done this?

It makes perfect sense. You shouldn't put hot pots directly on glass.

Heat cracks glass. I've had glasses crack while I was washing them in the sink because the water was too hot.

No need to buy a new table, simply replace the glass.
