There is a Minhag or segula to recite the Tefillah of the Sh'lah Hakadosh on Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan.
He writes that it is an eim ratzon.

I heard a story of a non-frum woman who was very distraught because all of her children became frum and she didn't understand why. Someone questioned her and it turned out that years before, someone had given her a card with Tfilas HaShlah Hakodosh and she didn't realize that it was only said one day a year; she said it everyday. She didn't know why she said it every day but she figured that she would do that one religious act that she herself didn't understand the significance of. This prayer is obviously taken very seriously On High and this woman was granted the religious children that she didn't realize that she had prayed for.

My sons school is having their dinner today and will be saying it betzibur. I think that is so beautiful. I try every year to take out a few minutes to say this special tefillah for our children.
