I want to make cookies with chocolate adashim instead of chocolate chips. Can I just use a chocolate chip cookie recipe? Anyone do this? Will the adashim stay pretty if I just fold them in before baking like with regular cc cookie recipes?

I had to google to see what adashim are - they’re like m&ms? If so, I think you can definitely mix them into the batter like chocolate chips. You can find an m&m cookie recipe and follow those directions if you want to make sure.

Yeah, they're parve, less chocolatey m&ms. So I was worried they would lose their color or just look messed up. But I guess you're right, I can try an m&m recipe and hope for the best. Thanks!

I think the color might run. I would make the cooking and sprinkle on top. Then press in slightly.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea. Would you use a chocolate chip cookie recipe? Do you think I can mix in some of the chocolate chips in the recipe and then add some adashim like you said? Like half and half?

Yea I would use my regular cookie recipe. I do think it would be a great idea to cut half the chips and add to batter and then top with the choc lentils. But If you want them to be a bit more uniformed then maybe go with just the lentils on top. Simple, cute and tasteful.
