The title says it all! Why do I have to pay $30-35 for a cotton stretchie?? And some are more. I saw one very nebby one for $27! It's insane. I need sz 18 months of that helps. My baby is still young but is jumbo. He's now in 12 months almost outgrowing.

Don’t shop in Jewish stores. Or buy one nice one for shabbos.

Jewish companies buy wholesale at anywhere from $8 up to about $24, and then they have to raise for profit. So it depends which company you want. You obviously want something nice, from this season. Pay the price.

Otherwise you can check outlet stores, like Designer's Spot or go to non jewish stores and get front button stretchies that may or may not be to your liking.

Century 21 has stunning stretchies for $12-$15. Some even the same as Jewish stores.

Gap has nice quality (they are 50% off today!) cute stretches.
Carters is a bit lower in quality but they do have cute stuff.
Nordstrom and lord and Taylor often have a few well priced pieces.

You're not going to find the "ribbed cotton layette sets in mauve" that sell for $58, but you'll find super cute pieces.

I hate when babies all dress in the same zillion dollar stretches.

My babies always look adorable in gap b"H bli ayin hora

I get from m&s or next. They come in 3 packs usually...$10-$20 for 3. Or Primark, even less money. I used the same stretchies for 6 kids though!
