Yes, Primark how now opened in the States as well.

https://www.primark.com/en-us/our-stores

I don't know their prices in the US though in the UK you would pay less than the equivalent of $10 for 3 stretchies.

I buy almost all my baby/toddler clothes from Once Upon a Child. They have some really nice items, occasionally new with tags. And then I don’t feel so bad if my kids stain or rip their clothing. I almost never splurge on baby clothes unless there’s a specific outfit I really want or if we’re going to a simcha or taking family photos. Side point, I happen to think my kids are well dressed. Nice clothing doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

I think the pricing is similar. One is opening in Brooklyn soon.

I got a lot of Gap, on sale. I found that the cotton was very soft, stains washed out well, and they would last for more than once child.
If you sign up, you get emails about sales. I never buy for less than 40% off, which they do regularly.

I have never paid $35 for a stretchy (onsie). It is very easy to find practical, nice-looking onsies for 1/3-1/2 that price.

Also, if you're in brooklyn, some of the suggestiond bove are really good (designer spot, anshei sfard...)

I have found it extremely difficult to find size 18 mts stretchies in non-Jewish places like the ones mentioned above, as well as Carter's, etc. (They go up to 9 months). Unless youre looking at blanket or cotton sleepers, you should look at discounted Jewish stores, like Designer Spot.
I even did well in the Sock Exchange at the end of the season when they were on sale.

All the European stores sell until at 24 months (Next, H&M, M&S, Primark etc. And plenty others as well though those are ones that you can definitely get hold of in the US.)

And Jewish stores usually run much smaller anyway so their 18 months would usually be equivalent to smaller sizes in the regular stores...

Target has sets of stretches, 3 for $12. Can't beat that. I'm used this as the basis for current baby's wardrobe (ie, pjs, sleep and play), then supplemented with some cuter outfits from their clearance rack. Got a gorgeous shabbos outfit for $7, fun play outfits for $5-8. Though this is my 4th son, it seems we lost our 3-6 and 6-9 mo clothing box during a recent move, but I was pleased to not have to break the bank to get him fully atired.

There are usually some type of sales there on Sundays and Mondays. Check the Torah Times or the Weekly Link to see what's coming.

I did really well @ anshei sfard. especially this size where the selection was still quite big. they also have a special of iirc 3 for $25.
it's all the way in the back to the right side on the sale rack.
