I've heard that a low sodium diet helps.

Cadetblue. As amother with a child (now an adult) who grew up with this condition. (BH doing good now) I can tell you yes there are other treatments available.. Since I am not a medical professional and don't know your exact specific case I don't want to post but my advice for you would be to ask your doctor or see a second opinion/more proffesional doctor as some are more up to date with their research..

The last mother that responded , is it possible to give me some idea of either a doctor or other treatments that are the latest research.
And yes I know these questions are for a doctor, but I was looking to hear from mothers who have been through it and can give me some insight of maybe other options.

We didn't get to use the best doctors growing up so I can't speak from experience... From what I heard from others and picked up from this site Dr Perlstein from Cornell and Howard trachtman from NYU are very good. Do you live in NY or in NJ ? (or elsewhere ?)

In terms of medication and other treatments I don't want to post as some people know us irl and might identify me.... I would be happy to email you with more details if you want to create an anonymous email..
