Just moved back here from Israel and trying to convert a recipe with sour cream. Do any of you know how many grams are in a regular-size container of shamenet chamutzah?
Thanks a lot.

Is it ml or gr?

I don't understand. Isn't the weight printed on the container?

The volume is. The density of sour cream is 0.51, so a 200 ml container has about 100 g.

Plus I think she is in the US and doesn't have access to an Israeli container.

Yes, but in the US at least, both volume and weight (well, mass, technically) are printed on the container.
But I guess OP's recipe just said "one container of sour cream," without specifying any measurement.

The containers are 200 ml. I don't have one in my house, or I would weigh it for you. I am pretty sure the weight is not listed on the package.

I didn't have one in the house either. I googled שמנת חמוצה, selected images, and enlarged the photos that showed the size.
