I would like a recipe for pareve caesar salad. This is one recipe that has been eluding me for so long! I often have delicious caesar salads at sheva brachos and the like, but whenever I find a recipe it just never compares.
If you have a really good recipe, please share!

oh I just found the most amazing pareve caesar dressing in a bottle, it's made by Mauzone's, which is a Queens place that distributes to grocery stores all over. I use bagged romaine lettuce (it's really buggy you have to check it like a hawk) and pareve caesar flavored croutons, they're from a heimishe brand, I think. I am planning to make a grilled chicken caesar salad one night soon.

I have a great recipe, but I never measure quantities. I can guess apx how much.
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/4 cup hot water - mix in 1 heaping tbsp chicken soup mix
garlic powder or fresh crushed garlic to taste
lemon juice to taste, maybe about 2-3 tbsp
Mix together very well
I also thinly slice a few eggs and add it on top. When I am tossing the salad with the dressing, the yolk kind of falls apart a bit and help to thicken out the dressing and add flavor.
Don't forget your garlic croutons.

OK, so when I go shopping later today I'm going to look for the mauzone's dressing (much less work for me ). If I can't find it, I'll try one of the other two recipes. Thanks guys!

OK, so I really liked the Mauzone's dressing! It happens that I couldn't find it in any of the regular grocery stores, so I got it in Mauzone's itself. It was very good and dh also liked it.
I may try some of the other recipes later on anyway, cuz it was quite pricey.

Here's my recipe. I'm not sure how close to Caesar it is, but it's really yum, and always gets finished off!
Salad:
1 head lettuce
cherry tomatoes, cut in circles
Purple onion, cut in circles
garlic croutons or flat breads
Dressing:
(all amounts are approximations, as I never measure and don't have the recipe in front of me)
1/2 C Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp (or maybe 1/2 tsp?) mustard powder (don't substitute for prepared mustard - it won't be the same at all)
1 Tbsp sugar
1-2 Tbsp lemon juice (optional)
1-2 cloves crushed garlic (optional)
1 Tbsp soy sauce (optional)
The last 3 ingredients are optional, but I would highly recommend that you use them - they add a lot to the dressing
