I’ll be taking over someone’s bungalow this summer. They installed a washer dryer and want me to pay them for it.

What a reasonable price to pay for a used washer dryer in a bungalow?

I often see people advertising second hand washers and dryers in good condition in the $300 range for each machine. But 10 yrs means it's going to die soon. So it may not be worth that much. I gave away an 11 yr old stackable free of charge.
You really need to know what condition, what model, so you can check the original price, and the age of the machine to figure out

Thanks!

Also recognize that the machine is only used for two months, but is exposed to extreme temperatures if that affects its performance.

Anyone bought machines from someone in the country?

was it a machine she bought specifically for the country ? Maybe she used it for a few yrs in the city and when she got new machines this became her "country" machine. Make sure to check on that 😊

Are you taking over the washer/dryer for the summer or are you buying it off her?

Yes, the owner of the washer dryer is giving up the bungalow.
