I’m the op from the previous cious thread about my baby’s nits. I combed out most of them and bh my toddler just got peyas. Was so happy to see his hair in the garbage! Now for maintenance, I heard tea tree shampoo is good to use as your regular shampoo. I wonder if anyone has tried it, and where I can buy online?

Which shampoo did you use till now?
I have a theory about a specific popular brand shampoo that attracts lice.

I use tea tree shampoo and conditioner for all my family, regular supermarket brand. 4 years ago on Purim at 4 kids were crawling with lice (don't know how I didn't notice it before!!), treated it twice and have been using tea tree shampoo since then, no one has gotten anything since, including my now 6 year old daughter with long hair, and it's gone round her class several times in the last 3 years (she also always wears her hair in a braid or caterpillar to school).

You can also buy regular shampoo and put in tea tree oil.
I use herbal essence on all my kids I pour in about 1 ounce of tea tree oil and shake vigorously. Works wonders.

It’s common in Israel to dab some rosemary oil behind the ears every morning.
Recently DDs put some rosemary sprigs in their pillowcases.

I figured.
I only used Pert twice because I ran out of
Suave and couldn't get to the store then. Both times my kids had lice.
Two of my sil said they noticed the same thing with pert and lice. And one neighbor.

Seems like the lice are attracted to the smell of pert. It does smell good Wink
I don't know about Johnsons. I never used that for my kids.

Tee tree oil works great. But it smells bad.
rosemary smells better and works too.
