I live oversees and have a magic jack (American Line) to call people in America. I find many times it is an unclear connection. Do others find that or is it something wrong with my internet connection?

Dh got one to have a business line in the house and hated it for the same reason. He doesn't use it anymore.

The connection is not always the greatest.
But I love that all the calls are free... and I don't have to think twice about calling someone... It's way cheaper than a VOIP line, so I think it's worth it. If you are just using it for personal calls, it can work. I wouldn't use it for business.

I have jivetel and majicjack
I bought majicjack to replace jivetel but then left the jivetel switching it to a plan that I pay for outgoing calls.
this way for work calls I will use the jivetel which is clearer. I don't find the majicjack that bad.
dh doesn't like it so he tells his family to call him back on our jivetel line.
