I need not tech savvy proof instructions.
I tried to follow what it says in the manual, but the light comes on when I open the door.

I just opened this thread to respond!
You need to note that before using the Sabbath mode for the first time, there is something that must be done to activate it (it is in the manual). Once you have done that and activated it, stays activated and just must be turned on for each time you use it. My ovens (2 years old) use Cook Tools 7 to turn it on, but newer ones may be different. And, as I said, that will only work after the initial activation. Read the manual carefully. If you don't have, you should be able to find it online.

I think I figured it out
You must first turn on the oven and set up your temp and cook time. Then, you press tools 7.
