Perhaps he can devise himself a daily schedule that includes davening, learning, and reading library books about topics that interest him that he won't get in a yeshiva. Maybe studying for some early college credits if that would be in line with your outlook.

Do you know anyone with a business that can employ him for a few hours?
(Even not for pay, just to fill his time with something constructive.)

How about working in the kitchen? can he make round challah for yomtov to freeze? or cakes and cookies for yomtov? lots of boys are great in the kitchen...

Are there chesed organizations that he can tag along with even if its stuffing envelopes, its a change of scenery and new ppl to interact with so he can fill his day.

If he likes amusement park rides, would you consider a season pass to Six Flags?

Does he like working with kids one-on-one? Maybe there are some special needs kids who would love a "big brother" to augment their play therapy?

When our children aren't into the typical stuff, we have to get creative too! Good luck!
