What type of tomato plant was on my Grandma's windowsill?

She had a bunch. They were just windowsill size. They grew real cherry tomatoes. I want to plant some but I'm getting lost looking at google results, most of which describe plants that need to be transferred outdoors at specific times and grow several feet tall... that doesn't sound right but that's what I'm seeing for cherry tomatoes.

What seeds do I buy to plant windowsill tomatoes?!
