I'm a counselor this summer and have a group of twenty 3 - turning four years olds. The camp gives us a schedule, but there are always little spaces that I need to fill - ex an activity takes quicker then the amount of time its schedule for or the kids get bored quickly....
So I'm looking for ideas of things I could do with them that dont require much prep/supplies
for example
- pass the ball around
- musical chairs
- exercise
- simple simone
- Indian chief
- duck duck goose
I'm looking for more similar ideas if anyone has.... thanks

Mini scavenger hunts. You can do over and over, depending on your surroundings. For example, if you're outdoors, have everyone try and collect a pretty leaf, a flower, and a piece of garbage that needs to be thrown away. Indoors you could do a book, something yellow, and something round.

A friend of mine did this with that age group: she would tell them to jump. That's it. "Jump, jump, juuuump!" They'd jump and jump in place until they were tired out. They loved it for some reason, and they were nice and calm afterwards.
