Based on my experience as a Camp Divisionhead, 1) Wherever we go we can make either a Kiddush Hashem or R"L the opposite. Whether we are in the airport, on a trip, or in the city we can 'go the extra smile' and be friendly and kind to all 2) Let us not allow our children to 'hitch rides' in the mountains. 3) Share the Safety InfoLine (641 715 3800 code 424536#) or the articles on safety with fellow parents. 4)Let's look out for each other. If you notice a friend or anyone who looks alone, a bit down or dehydrated, don't just walk by, rather show that you care. I usually keep extra water bottles with me and give to family, campers or workers who look thirsty. They are always very grateful. 5) Do not allow children to go driving in the mountains until they have at least a few solid years of driving experience and are mature and very responsible, this message I am writing from personal experience and cannot overstate. May we use the summer to refresh ourselves to bring out our very best all year long. Thanks for your wonderful Torah web site
