I agree about fruit but I think celery is practically negative calories because of the effort to chew them. IMHO they should not be eaten anywhere near the fridge because that signals to the body "meal time," but they can be munched on like gum as part of a relaxing routine.

Of course you don't have to! But to me celery is like gum where the flavor doesn't go away.

For me- and I've been up and down on the scale all of my life- it was about realizing that food doesn't have to be the treat.

So now-- I'll take a nap, head for coffee with a friend, manicure, massage, Broadway show, fun activity at night with a friend...
