My sheitel got thrown into the laundry and the base totally shrank. Any ideas of how to un-shrink it?

Wash it thoroughly. Make sure the net is very wet. Then stretch it over the shaitel head carefully until it fits the right way. It needs to dry this way on the head. It make take 2-3 wash/stretchings before it feels comfortable again.

When the sheitel is wet and you're putting it on the styrofoam head, use T pins to pin the edges of the net down. pin it down every few inches and pay attention to the nape of the neck and the area in front of the ears. The pins will help the net dry without shrinking. This works for me.
