OP, try contacting Chesed. There's Chesed of Monsey, and there are branches in Brooklyn as well. They have volunteers that give rides to patients and their families, though they may not be able to help you out if this is just a one time thing. I think they have to have the patient on their roster or something. It's certainly worth reaching out to them though.

If it's a one time ride, Chesed will let to take a ride along. Meaning that if they're anyways going to that hospital for another trip you may ride along. I thinks there's also a ride system in Monroe.

Thanks. we're signed up with Chesed & Chai lifeline. no one is promising a ride in... can't take the bus because of medical issues.
