A little background:
My parents have extremely conservative palettes. They've stuck with the same food for years and years, and don't love new things. When I was single, this was a minor annoyance for me since I love to experiment. Now that I'm married, I'm really excited to explore new dishes, since I consider myself somewhat of a foodie. DH has been really cooperative (so far...) and will pretty much try anything I set in front of him.
Question:
What can I make for Friday night main that is NOT chicken and rice? (Not a fan of squishy kugel).
