Stray Boots changed its business model, and now only does group team-building scavenger hunts. The other suggestions are fun, but not particularly inexpensive. You could take a ferry to Governor's Island and walk around there for about $5 roundtrip for both of you, or you could walk the Highline (free). Some museums like the Met are by donation only, so you could go for free or only a few dollars.

From the Met, though, maybe just hang in Central Park, or rent a Mike's Bike (Citi Bike) to tool around. Its a beautiful day.

The Highline isn't so far from kosher pizza on Broadway. And I believe there's also kosher pizza on the UES not far from the Met, but I don't know details. Last time we were near the Met, we ate at the nearby Burger Bar.
