My dd who's 16 years old, is beyond miserable and bored. She was gifted with being away in sleepover camp first half. She's bored to tears now.. She'll be working in a camp, starting next week, which she's dreading. Even then, she'll be done at 3:30, and what to do with the extra time? What do your teen girls do to keep busy, with sooo much down time? Any suggestions? Thanx.

Are any of her friends around? They could get together after camp and make their own fun (games, shmoozing, etc).

Doesn't she have any friends or hobbies?
When I was 16, we took our bikes, 3 tents and food and camped near a lake for a week. It was amazing! 16 is old enough to organize something for onself... Especially in the frum world where girls are getting engaged at 18/19
