My 2 yo son chews on toys, fingers or shirt constantly. He gets a paci for night/nap and would love to have it in his mouth all day long, but I don't let him.
His OT recommended chewy jewelry. He doesn't love it.
Any recommendations?

Use a vibrating toothbrush. Give him crunchy food like thick pretzels, etc. to munch on.
The idea is to give him the oral stimulation he seems to be craving. The more you provide him with good ways to receive it, the less he'll crave it.
Good luck!

Oral-motor sensory seeking can be a sign of zinc deficiency. Try supplementing with zinc piccolinate.

Did all his teeth come in? With one child I noticed everytime his tooth was cutting though he would chew everything and at one point he got in a few teeth one after another so it felt like he was constantly chewing
