This is one of the names that we are considering. Thing is, I don't know anyone with this name. Have any of you heard of someone with this name? Is it a common name in your community?
Any other suggestions for name that relates to Mashiach?
TIA!

Yes, I know a number of Shilo's in my community (children and young adults).
In Israel it is usually a DL name and the accent is on the last syllable.
Another name with Mashiach connotations is Yinon (according to chazal's interpretation of mizmor 72 in Tehillim).

Thanks for the response. Is Yinon a name used frequently in Israel? I've never heard of it in America. Thank u!

It's pretty common - in DL as well as in secular circles.
Actually more common than Shilo.

Sorry I'm not 💯 sure about this but in Israel it's the name of a town/yishuv (I've never been there), and would be pronounced "She lo" the "Shi" would sound like "she" not like "shy".

Shilo is a beautiful name.
Yinon is used also by charedim in EY, usally sefardi.
For more names:
Dvir , Ariel, Yedid all mean Beis Hamikdash.
Zion or BenZion
Aaron, Bezalel, Elazar, Itamar Binyamin all names related to the Beis Hamikdash.
There are the classic names like Dovid and Yosef. (moshiach ben Dovid or ben Yosef)
Beshaa Tova!

Wow, thank you to everyone who took the time to leave a response. I really appreciate the feedback. Glad to know that Shilo is a common name outside of my community. Although I didn't realize that its also used as a girls name. Is it a common girls name? In which circles? Thank you also for all the other suggestions!

How is Yinon pronounced? I've never heard of the name before.

I've actually never heard if for a girl (DL circles) but I don't see why it can't be a girls name. It sounds pretty neutral.

I've heard of the name Shilo, but don't personally know anyone with it. It's a nice name though.
Another name connected to moshiach is Menachem.

In my circles Shiloh is not a name commonly used and I don’t particularly like the name and wouldn’t want to use it.
Maybe a name like Bentzion or just Tzion alludes to the same idea?
Or Dovid (mashiach Ben David...)
Eliyahu (hanavi)
Enjoy your baby boy and may he help us bring moshiach!
