My DH is looking to leave full-time kollel. He will go to college, but wants to make some money first. He's looking for a part-time job in any area--literally anything. However, all the entry level positions that are advertised are for women (I.e. secretary, office assistant). We've checked the local frum newspapers, and on Indeed and such.

Any ideas? My husband is good with computers and a quick learner.

I saw some chassidishe schools looking for afternoon English teachers. Just a few hours a day. Maybe that would work.

The job postings always say that they want a female.

When my DH was doing his bachelors he taught in a Boys Yeshiva in the afternoon. It paid nicely for a part time job, if he can do that it’s a good option.

Another vote on boys English. Dh now makes 35k working 3 50min periods while building up his own business in the am. Tip: chassidish boys schools are easier as they behave better- but pay half...

It's a good idea. However, my husband did that last year and isn't really interested in teaching right now (they asked him back and he said he's not interested).
