Never been to Niagra. If have only one day there, what are the can't miss activities?
Also which ones require the least and most amount of walking as this is an adult only trip and one person has a bad knee?
Is the American or Canadian side better???
Which hotel can you recommend that has a good view of the falls at night?

For a great view of the falls at night sleep on Canadian side in a hotel overlooking the falls. I say spend the day on the American side by the islands and do the maid of the most there too since there are no lines in the American side. U take a shuttle around the islands so it minimizes walking... U get a very up close view and sound of falls from the American side. It's amazing!
