Lately there have been alot of mosquitoes in our area and everyone has gotten quite bitten up - I was even standing outside of the door of the shul on Rosh Hashana to hear shofar - and I got 9 big bites on my leg!

I am terrified of getting eaten alive in the sukkah! My brother and father got terribly bitten up while building the sukkah (I will be by my parents for y''t) and I was wondering if there is any way to prevent the mosquitoes from swarming around the sukkah - I have cutter insect repelant - but I would love to just keep the mosquitoes away from the whole sukkah!

Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I think mosquito netting is not allowed over the sukkah, but perhaps it would be allowed for you to lay it on top of you while sleeping?

we got the tealight citronella candles. they are very small and can go right on the table. we used a small glass votive and it worked nicely. everyone still should put on bug repellent. I got the most family/kid friendly one out there but they are all pretty harsh. never spray it inside and always away from kids faces!

You can get a blue light that zaps bugs at Home Depot. Also I would spray the Succah before Yom Tov! We're putting an air-conditioner in ours this year to avoid them but also to manage the heat!

Where did you find those? I was looking for them during the summer because on Friday night we like to eat outside.
