Hi I'm back for today, at least. One of my real life friends mentioned this thread to me and I had to check.

One of my favorite epic moments of my time spent on here was the towel thread. Also the inappropriate niddah poetry thread, actually. What wholesome fun we had. I still have the threads saved in PDF so I can read it on demand.

Why I left? I was getting a little too negative. Reading so many rants and problems people had with the world kind of got to me. I began to find everything annoying and I realized that change came from here. The problem was I didn't balance my reading time with normal threads like recipes and PSAs.

Im here a long time, about 13 years and I nthe beginning, there were israeli posters, of all kinds, but no specific forum for us. I think, like the above anonymous poster wrote, a few israeli posters actually found face book groups that were more "real" if that makes sense.

I dont know about MY but the other person you mentioend FS, put a LOOOOT of effort into being a troll/not what she said she was, so people put different efforts in differently.

FB is much faster. On message boards you end up checking every thread to see what needs your input... on FB, unless you belong to a zillion groups and check in every hour, I find it takes faster to scroll down my feed once or twice a day.
