I am looking for recommendations for a good dentist in Brooklyn that works with low functioning special needs children and accepts straight Medicaid.

I know Dr wagshall at ezra medical specialises in special needs dentistry. Could be he works in the mobile and not in the office you would have to call and ask. But from what I've heard he's very gentle and thorough with his patients. Good luck

Thanks! Anyone else? She will need to be sedated for any dental work and a check-up will be difficult because she doesn't understand language.

I use Dr Meryl Hirsch on the Ezra medical center mobile dental unit. She and her staff are excellent with my special needs son. They always stay calm and pleasant, and really try to get everything done for him.

I know MMC Dental on 13-43 sees a lot of low functioning children.
Dr Wagshall is really gentle with special needs children...

I second Mmc because they have put my child to sleep and did all her cavities.
