Can I use my kokosh cake dough recipe for chocolate buns? Or will it burn? Please advise or provide a recipe thanks

Of course, you just have to tweak the bake time.
Do you or don't you have a kokosh recipe?
You make it the exact same way, except you don't put the entire log of kokosh into the oven. You cut the log into 1 1/2" pieces, thicker or thinner, depending on how you like it. Then you put it into a cookie sheet, cut side up, spread apart. Also how much depends if you like the look of the attached buns or you like them very individual.
