Not my first kid by far, but the first to go to school at 3. How big of a lunch should I pack? She’s not a huge eater of actual food. I want to make sure she has enough, but I don’t want to waste either.

Pack whatever you think she'll eat.

A sandwich, maybe cut it in half. Two different snacks and a fruit if it’s a longer day.

The first couple of days send extras, and then you'll be able to figure out what she needs by judging what did and didn't come home.
