My husband's work is opening an office in downtown Brooklyn. Unfortunately they are sending him to help get that office set up which means he will probably have to stay there overnight once a week for a few months.

We live over five hundred miles away and have no contacts in Brooklyn.

He is looking for a place in a frum area for the night he has to stay over. His company has an agreement with a national hotel chain that their business travelers only have to pay about $100 a night so they won't reimburse him for too much more.

Is there anything in that range in a frum area where he can stay?

He is not going to stay with a family but if someone rents out rooms in a basement with a separate entrance he would consider it.

Crown heights is also a short train ride away. There is a hotel right near the train called eshel. I believe it's rather cheap and it's a block away from Shuls, restaurants and coffee!l
There number is - 718-928-3330

Did anyone ever hear of the Days Inn in Boro Park?

https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/.....rview

They seem like a good option if they are a good hotel

Yes it's near Boro Park. I didn't know it was bought by Days Inn. That's good news.

Previously it was a Sleep Inn and the clientele was iffy. I wouldn't have stayed there. Even just passing by, there are people loitering, and I tend to avoid walking down that block if I need to get to the heimish apartment development that's nearby.

But maybe now it will pick up?
