I would like to take an accounting course. I don't want to go for a BA. I want the shortest course before a BA.
Is there such a thing?

My goal is to know if accounting suits me. I want to take a small course, see if I like and then decide if I want to continue doing it.
Also, does taking a course make my resume for a regular administrative job look better?

I think it could be useful - but I’d pair that with a quickbooks course.
Accounting is a big range of jobs.

There is an intro to bookkeeping course that is free. Bookkeepering is the heart of accounting.

If you live in Brooklyn look into COPE.
The Junior Accounting course is short term, and then they offer the CPA courses.
The good thing about COPE is they help with job placement once you graduate.
