We don't exactly have pets, but we have a mesh Nyjer bird feeder to attract goldfinches and an in-window feeder for other wild birds.

We finally put a few comet goldfish in our tiny pond this year and we feed them. They have taken to heart the Rosh Hashana siman to "be fruitful and multiply like fish." If you want to catch a herring for your simanim, we've got 'em!

And a frog has taken up residence in the pond. But he catches his own dinner.

On at least 2 occasions people have left rubber duckies in the pond as offerings or donations. And my grandchildren have been known to take duckies from the window sill where they live and float them there. So sometimes, yes.
