I think there is a different type of parasite that would require you giving it a few days apart - I vaguely remember reading on the instructions. But for pinworm that would be too soon.
Unfortunatley, pinworm is something that is difficult to control with ka"h large families, and inevitable possibilities of picking up in playgroups and camps etc.
If you can get your kids to eat pumpkin seeds daily (and garlic if they will), you may be better off in the long term.
And make sure to wash underwear, pajamas and linens in hot water, and put in dryer.
And shower in the morning, no baths.
I've also heard that putting aquaphor on the opening before going to sleep can discourage laying eggs (and also prevent itching, which will hopefully prevent eggs from getting into fingernails etc...)
I've been there, it is really frustrating, and I feel for you. Eventually kids grow out of it, and some have a greater tendency to it than others.
