I'm looking for a home school curriculum recommendation (preferably online) for a motivated, bright, ninth grader.
How does this work in terms of getting a high school diploma? Is there any way he can get one, doing it online? How do I know what courses he should be taking every year? Just go with one math, one science, one history, and one English?
Please advise (or point me in the right direction)!
Thanks so much

Check out k12.com. It has a very good reputation, and it gives a lot of guidance.

Where are you located? Homeschool laws vary by state. The best place to start would probably be to figure out your local homeschool laws and requirements.

I live in NJ but honestly wasn’t thinking about the legal aspect at all. I hadn’t really realized there was one. A number of my son’s friends have dropped out of English and he would like to do the same. I have grudgingly agreed on the condition that he gets himself an alternate (and decent) education, at home...
I’m trying to figure out how to set something up for him...

Contact your local DOE and find out if your state has virtual school.
