My baby is 4 months. I sent out most of my thank you notes around the one month mark, and would like to work on the rest after sukkos. Its mostly family and closer friends left, as well as a couple people who gave us gifts after I sent out the first batch of Ty notes.
I'm embarrassed to be sending so long after, is there a graceful way to acknowledge to the gifter that I'm late in saying thank you?

You don't have to apologize. Four months is normal for after having a baby. People understand that you have been busy with a newborn. Better a late thank you than none at all

Four months is not soooo bad. Send them. Better late than never.

Don’t call attention to your lateness by apologizing. Just send them. Late is definitely better than never in this case.

4 months isn't even really late. Do it now, though, it will only get worse.
