Sweet sauce for pickled French roast

I cooked a pickled French roast in plain water. When I warmed it up in Vegetable sauce it was too savory. What sweet sauce can I use for it? And do I warm it up in the sauce on yt or separately?

I need similar help! I baked. Acorn beef with a glaze and now no ‘gravy’ tp serve it with! Looking for a sauce! Please!

Does anyone have the sweet sauce with chrein, ketchup, brown sugar etc recipe?

Jar currant jam
1/4 c mustard
1/2 c ketchup
1/3 c brown sugar
Boil in sauce pan and pour over sliced meat.
Freeze or refrigerate
