my 15 month old son plays very sweetly with a doll and stroller, that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy his trucks and cars. Kids tend to like anything with a face. They also see us tending to babies all the time they are just copying...nothing to worry about.

I thought the "homosexual tendencies" comments had to be jokes! Come on. Our 4 older sons all played with dolls. It's completely normal, and I think, sweet. Don't you hope that your son will be a father someday? Caring for dolls helps develop his emotional sensitivity. By the way, our sons often pretended that the dolls were boys.

Thought twice about adding to this thread because of the maturity level of a few of the anon posters (I am also sure the homo comment was facetious) but Just want to say that it seems fine that very little boys play with dolls. Is it not normal for a little boy to love his baby brother or sister? is this too much like mommy?

Maybe people are going to start trying to make me worry about dh because he sweeps the floor on erev shabbos Rolling Eyes

In fact, my masphia told me getting a baby doll for my older son to teach him how to handle a new baby was dafka a good idea, since he tends to be a bit rough and needs to understand how to hold a baby

Actually my three yr old twin son loves dolls and is always fighting with his twin sister which one he can get to hold Tongue Out

But if I remember correctly op concerns (b/4 her deletes Rolling Eyes ) were not only dolls, but clothes, pink, etc and I still maintain she does not have to worry Wink

My sons play with dolls, strollers, a doll house, etc.
My 3 year old would choose anything pink if I offered. He always chooses pink straws to drink form and asks me to buy pink clothes when he sees them in a store.

I guess no one told him that pink is a girly color in our culture.
He's a perfectly normal and wonderful kid.
