I made it. The steps were pretty easy for a babka and the filling came out really good (filling recipe below). I had a problem with the dough though. It was so sticky that I had to add a ton of flour (probably about 2 cups). Did anyone else have this problem? If you made this recipe, how did it come out? TIA

Never made this recipe, but I did read once (maybe it was in tamar ansch's challah book) that instead of using flour in a sticky dough (as that will make it heavier & drier), use some more oil.
Also coating the bowl and dough in oil before it rises might help.

Thanks, good to know, in this case the dough seemed so off that I'm wondering if I did something wrong, so I'd really like to hear from someone that tried the recipe.

The filling, in case anyone's interested-
3.5 oz bar dark chocolate
1 cup chocolate chips
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup confectionary sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Melt chocolate, chocolate chips & margarine, stir occasionally, add sugar & cocoa, wait until cool before spreading
