Can anyone recommend books, either for me to read myself or to read with my 6yo, on dealing with worries and fears?

As a child therapist I know this book is very popular but maybe it helps the mildest cases.

Like everything else, it requires a lot of parental involvement to really help.

The Worry Worm, by Rabbi Dr. Zev Ballen. You can order it from Emunah Coaching, or off the Breslov.org website.

The illustrations are adorable, too.

(Dr. Ballen is an amazing therapist, too. I highly recommend him to everybody.)

Tamar Chansky "Freeing your child from anxiety". If it's too much work for the parents that's when it's time for a professional.
